Rental Terms
Damage & Missing Item Agreement
All linens and chair covers must be in the same quantity and condition that you received them: no tears, rips, holes, food stains or wax stains. Full replacement cost will apply to any item that is rendered unusable or missing. You will personally inspect the rental items after use. If any item is missing, damaged or unusable, you are responsible to notify D & J Chair Covers.
D & J Chair Covers are NOT responsible for any kind of injury whatsoever, due to falls off the chair, or from any kind of injury that could or might occur, per use of our linens. Lost or damaged replacement cost on chair covers and sashes are as follows:
Chair Covers $6.00 each, Sashes $3.00 each.
Requirements of Contract and Payment Policy:
A $150.00 deposit is required to initiate your order – deposits are non-refundable. However, this deposit will apply toward the remaining balance. You have three weeks prior to your function date to change your order amount. Any revisions or color changes must be made at least 1 month before the event date. Your final payment is based on the final guest count given three weeks prior to the event. All payments must be paid in full three weeks prior to event date. If you book three weeks or closer to your event date, the bill is due in full with the signed contract. D & J Chair Covers can refuse set up of items if payment in full is not received, resulting in this contract becoming null and void. Orders under $200.00 will be charged a $40.00 delivery and pick up charge.
Forms of Payment:
Please make checks payable to D & J Chair Covers. Personal checks must be received at least three weeks prior to event date. After that a money order, certified check, cashiers check or cash will be accepted. If you overpay on the rental charges, a refund check will be made out to the name on the contract and mailed within 2 weeks following the event. In the event checks do not clear, you will be responsible for a $36.00 returned check fee. If for any reason D & J Chair Covers is obligated to contact a collection agency, small claims court or hire an attorney, you will be responsible for fees to cover these costs.
Event Cancellation:
All deposits are non-refundable. If you choose to cancel your order after contract is signed and deposit has been made, there will be no refund. We always recommend you get a chair cover sample before placing your order to assure our chair covers fit your style of chair. If you choose not to get a sample, and the chair cover does not fit, we are not responsible.
This covers the cost D & J Chair Covers incurs for turning away potential customers in order to reserve the rental items for your event.
Delivery and Set-up:
D & J Chair Covers pricing includes set-up, steaming, take-down, tax and delivery (local area only – 30 mile range). D & J Chair Covers will remove the chair covers if the event location allows for the chair covers to remain on the chairs overnight. If they must be removed that evening, the lessee is responsible for removing them and making arrangements with D & J Chair Covers on where to pick them up the following day. You have the option to pick up the order within 3 days of the event. All items must be returned within 1 day after the function. An additional fee of $50 per day will be charged for each day the items are not returned. The Client is responsible for making sure the facility allows outside chair cover companies.
Samples:
A chair cover and sash sample can be provided for a deposit of $10. The $10 deposit will be returned to you upon returing the samples.
Uplighting samples can be provided for a deposit of $30. The $30 depoist will be returned to you upon returing the sample.

Q. Do you carry black or ivory chair covers?
A. Currently, we do not offer black or ivory chair covers. All of our chair covers are white. If this is what you are searching for, we would consider setting up special pricing and purchasing them for your event.
Q. I am not sure about how many guests I will have. What if my total count changes, am I allowed to change the number of chair covers ordered?
A. Your initial deposit is based upon your estimate of guests. Your final payment will be due three weeks prior to your event date. Your final payment will be based off of your final count and can be adjusted accordingly. Please note we do this to make sure we have more than enough in stock for your event.
Q. Do you offer any discounts if we do our own set-up?
A. If you would like to pick up the chair covers and sashes and do your own set-up, you will receive a discounted rental price of $2.00 per chair cover and sash. A refundable security deposit of $150 may be required and refunded to you upon returning the materials. Additional DIY prices are listed below:

Q. Do you offer any discounts for paying for the entire rental up-front?
A. Yes. If you would like to pay upfront, you will receive $25 off of your rental order.
Q. Do you offer table runners and napkins?
A. We currently do not offer table runners or napkins but I would be more than happy to help find materials that match your color exactly.
Q. How do I obtain a sample?
A. Please contact us and we will make the proper arrangements to get it to you. Please indicate which color sash you are interested in.
